~Happily Ever After~

I’ve once watched “Ever After: A Cinderella Story”. It was an adaptation of the classic fairy tale Cinderella. As usual, it’s the story of a kind and polite girl, ill-treated as a servant by her cruel stepmother and two ugly stepsisters after her father’s death. Finally, she fell in love with the prince, they got married and lived happily ever after. I still remember the unforgettable phrase in this movie was when Leonardo persuaded Danielle to attend a ball and meet the prince. She asked Leornardo, “a bird could marry a fish, but where would they live?” Leonardo, being the wise person in the movie answered, “Then I shall make you wings.”Well, it was a happily ever after movie after all. 

Sometimes, it makes me wonder that how many “happily ever after” we can actually see in real life. I do believe in it but it takes a lot of courage and patience which are slowly decreasing in life at present. It’s sad to know that every day, there are many divorce cases filed. My first thought was “how many wings did Leonardo make?” It seems to me, the wings are out of stock. So, hang on. Your wings are on their way!
